{"id":120,"date":"2022-10-20T01:22:28","date_gmt":"2022-10-19T23:22:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/minee.cm\/?p=120"},"modified":"2022-10-21T11:28:13","modified_gmt":"2022-10-21T09:28:13","slug":"drinking-water-supply-project-for-the-city-of-yaounde-and-its-surroundings-from-the-sanaga-river-paepys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/minee.cm\/en\/drinking-water-supply-project-for-the-city-of-yaounde-and-its-surroundings-from-the-sanaga-river-paepys\/","title":{"rendered":"Drinking Water Supply Project for the City of Yaound\u00e9 and its Surroundings from the Sanaga River (PAEPYS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This project, which aims for an additional daily production of 300,000 m3\/d expandable to 400,000 m3\/d, will eventually make it possible to fill the drinking water supply deficit of the city of Yaound\u00e9 and its surroundings.<\/p>\n<p>The actions carried out until October 2022 have brought the overall physical implementation rate of the project to 91.7%; Execution studies: 100%; supplies: 99.7%; works: 85.1%.<\/p>\n<p>Work progress rates per batch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Raw water collection and pumping station in Nachtigal: 97%<\/li>\n<li>Water treatment plant in Emana Batchenga: 98.5%<\/li>\n<li>90kV\/30kV transformer station in Nkometou: 97.6%<\/li>\n<li>Nkometou treated water pumping station: 96.1%<\/li>\n<li>Nyom treated water pumping recovery station: 61%<\/li>\n<li>Ndindan Treated Water Reservoir: 5.2%<\/li>\n<li>Laying of pipes from Nachtigal to Yaound\u00e9: 36%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is a significant increase in work from 68.5% in October 2021 to 85.1% in October 2022. This is materialized by a strong increase in the laying of pipes ranging from 27,000 linear meters of all diameters (ductile iron &amp; HDPE ) last year to 86,740 linear meters for all diameters this year. That is a remainder of 14,969 linear meters to achieve.
